Young Group Product Purification Processor

Live Debulking Site Layout

  • Processes at 80 m³ per hour
  • Agitates and extracts while tank in production
  • Separates and purifies water, solids to be put back into process or disposed as non-hazardous
1. Extraction and Product Temperature Control Unit
  • Providing 6000 CFM of continuous vacuum through 8-inch suction
  • Temperature control with 35,000,000 BTU heater
2. Separation Phase
  • Raw Slurry is pulled from the Production Tank to the Vac Tank using the Super Vac Unit.
  • The Vac Tank level is monitored by the Vac Tank Level Sensor and the Super Vac Unit Suction Rate is PLC feedback controlled to maintain level.
  • Raw Slurry is then pumped out of the Vac Tank by a PLC-controlled Gallop Pump that pumps at 60 m3/hour to 80 m3/hour, then through a PLC-controlled Superheater which maintains a temperature between 60 deg. C to 85 deg C.
3. Gravity Settling
  • Slurry will run through the Primary separation unit, Attrited Product passes through Flowmeter and Temperature Sensor and into the Settling Tank.
  • Flow rate and heat are adjusted based on sensor output downstream.
  • The Settling Tank consists of solids, water and oil, which are individually drained at 3 different levels.
  • Oil and water levels are continuously monitored using level sensors, and solids level is monitored using sonar level sensor.
  • Solids removed By Vac Truck
4. Gravity Settling 2
  • Exact duplicated skid allowing for Continues Operation During Skid Solids removal and primary separator maintenance.
5. Oil Purity Control Loop
  • If BS&W sensor reading is less than 1%, Oil is diverted down to Pipeline.
  • If BS&W is greater than 1%, oil is recirculated to the Production Tank until BS&W is reduced to 1% or lower.
  • Once BS&W has reached optimal level, Oil Recirculation Valve will be diverted to pipeline.
6. Water Purity Control Loop
  • If oil concentration is greater than 1000 PPM, water is recirculated to the Production Tank until oil concentration comes down.
  • Once Oil concentration has been brought to acceptable levels, the Water Recirculation Valve routes water through Primary Hazardous Concentration Sensor.
  • If Primary Water Sensor detects acceptable levels (Client/Region dictated value) of hazardous substances, water is routed to disposal pond or disposal well.
  • If Primary Hazardous concentration sensor detects high levels of hazardous substances, Hazardous water is then diverted to a secondary filtration loop until it meets acceptable level to be set to disposal well or pond.
